This on-line Directory of Black Majority Churches is the product of a partnership between the African and Caribbean Evangelical Alliance (ACEA) www.acea-uk.org and the Minority Ethnic Christian Affairs (MECA) department of Churches Together in England (CTE)
www.cte.org.uk It builds upon two previous printed issues of the directory that were published in 2000 and 2003/4. This site is funded by Churches Together in Britain and Ireland.
Both MECA/CTE and ACEA are committed to effective communications and networking. We hope that this electronic resource, an expression of Christian partnership, will be used mainly for connecting Christians, Christian leaders and organisations to serve our communities better, as we share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
On our site, you will find listings of church headquarters, local churches, agencies, theological institutions and bookshops. Most of these are Black Majority, or Black-led, but some are from a range of organisations which are of interest to Black Christians in the UK.
We are keen to have a lively events section and welcome notice of your churches events . If you would like to advertise here, please get in touch to discuss terms. To submit new information or amendments, please register as a member first. Any ideas you have for the improvement of the content and use of the site will be much appreciated.
We aim to maintain this site to the highest degree of accuracy possible. However, this depends upon you too! Please look at the entry for your organisation, verify its contents and advise us of any changes needed. Also, if an organisation you expect to be listed is not, please provide us with the information which will be verified and posted on the site.
